Our Mar Menor Sun apartment rental is located within the traditional seaside town of Lo Pagan, and set close to the famous salt lakes and regional park of San Pedro del Pinatar. The apartment has a private sun terrace, shares a communal swimming pool and is close to the beaches of the Mar Menor.
The surrounding area is very flat and as such is excellent for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired locally.
La Salinas nature reserve, complete with flamingos, is close by, and over the sand dunes is the Mediterranean!
The beach at Lo Pagan can be reached within 5 mins by car with some beach side parking. This area has a large sandy beach gently sloping into the Mar Menor - great for children. There is also a long promenade walking area, with access to the mud baths, around the top end of the Mar Menor.
San Pedro town, with its shops, supermarkets, and restaurants, is about 10 mins walk.
The Dos Mares (Two Seas) shopping complex is about 10 minutes drive away with a large Eroski supermarket, numerous shops, cinemas and restaurants.
The newly opened Hotel Thalasia is two minutes walk away offering restaurants and bars.
A Thalassotherapy Centre with swimming-pools with different temperatures, Jacuzzi, marine circuit, bithermic showers, sauna, cold swimming pool, relaxing room, and much more, is next to the hotel.
